Established in 2005, SVS Hospital emerged from the vision of Dr. S.V. Krishna Rao to provide world-class, compassionate healthcare in a modern, patient-friendly environment. Dr. S.V. Krishna Rao
Dr. S.V. Krishna Rao is a leading Consultant Urologist and Andrologist with extensive expertise in advanced laparoscopic and transplant surgeries. Holding degrees such as M.S. (General Surgery), M.Ch. (Genitourinary Surgery, SVIMS), and M.Ch. (Pediatric Surgery, AIIMS), Dr. Rao brings decades of experience treating complex urological and andrological conditions.
He has earned multiple fellowships and certifications (FAUA, FMAS, FIAGES, CCE), reflecting his commitment to clinical excellence and the adoption of modern, minimally invasive surgical techniques. As the founder of SV Super Speciality Hospital, Dr. Rao envisioned a state-of-the-art center dedicated to offering comprehensive kidney, urinary, and men’s health care using the latest diagnostic and therapeutic technologies.
Dr. Rao’s practice is known for precision, empathy, and a patient-first approach—covering a range of treatments from non-invasive stone management (ESWL) to laser procedures (including RIRS with Thulium laser) and advanced day-care surgeries, making high-quality urological care accessible to the community.
